Jeff Blair '70, newest member of the CBP Advisory Board

While at Hanover, I was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. A side bar is the PDT house we see at the end of fraternity row today was brand new my senior year! Worked in Campus Center kitchen, PDT kitchen, cleaned gyms and toilets throughout my four years.

Participated in track (1 year), cross country (1 year), baseball (2 years) and basketball (4 years). Was awarded Scholar-Athlete recognition.

Majored in mathematics and minored in elementary education at HC. Went on to MBA program at Indiana University upon graduation.

Married to my high school sweetheart, Carol, since 1970. We have two children, Tim and Jennifer. Tim is a Director of Global Contracts for a health care company and lives in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife and their three kids (6,4,2). Jen is a school psychologist working in the Lawrence School District near Indianapolis and resides in Fishers. They are the best things we ever did!!!

Today I am retired from day-to-day business but do sit in on 3 business Boards of Directors (including Chairman of NAMSA, my previous employer) and also consult for both financial investors and health care companies on strategic planning, operational opportunities, and the like.

Carol and I like to travel having been to Israel, Egypt, Alaska, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Tanzania, and Rwanda in the past two years. Also, to see the grand kids in Florida on many occasions!

In addition, I enjoy golf, reading, swimming, serve as President of my Mission Board at Church, daily exercise, several reality shows (Survivor, The Amazing Race, Dancing With the Stars...quit laughing Jerry), serve as Director of the Lincoln Highway Association for Indiana, 1970 Class Agent for Hanover, Director on the Alumni Board for Hanover, and try not to bother my wife too much.

The best things about retirement are reading the papers every morning along with two cups of coffee, and just doing "stuff" that you want to get involved in to stay busy (see above, plus CBP) rather than be absorbed by the pace of the business world.
